Steven Hooi Kok Hoe

Mr. Steven Hooi Kok Hoe, a Malaysian aged 43, joined Suria Capital in June 2003 as a Senior Manager in-charge of Kuala Lumpur Regional office. In July 2004, he was transferred to Kota Kinabalu Head Office to hold the post of Senior Manager (Project/Civil/Building).

He is a graduate of Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia with a Bachelor in Engineering (C & S) and obtained his Bachelor in Business Administration and Master in Business Administration majoring in Marketing from Phoenix International University. Prior to joining Suria Capital, he had gained wide experience after working with few companies such as Pati Sdn Bhd (Renong Group), Kitacon Sdn Bhd, Harvest Court Industries Bhd and Chase Perdana Bhd. He has hands-on experience in project management and business development particularly in the areas of construction (infrastructure works and buildings), property development and jetties operation for the past 16 years.

He was made the Chief Executive Officer of Suria Capital's subsidiary, SCHB Engineering Services Sdn Bhd in March 2005 while still serving as the Senior Manager (Project/Civil/Building).
