Ng Kiat Min

Mdm Ng Kiat Min, a Malaysian aged 51, is the General Manager, Corporate Services/Finance in Sabah Ports Sdn Bhd (“SPSB”) which is a wholly owned subsidiary of SURIA. Prior to this, she had been the Senior Manager, Corporate Development of SURIA since September 2001 .She was seconded to SPSB in September 2004.

She graduated from the University of Lancaster, United Kingdom with a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting and Finance. She qualified as a Certified Accountant of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants, United Kingdom in 1986. She has been a Fellow member of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants since 1992. She is also registered as a Chartered Accountant with the Malaysian Institute of Accountants since 1988.

She began her career in 1981 in audit and accountancy with an audit firm - Hanafiah, Raslan & Mohamad (associated with Touch Ross International then). In 1986, she joined Sabah Forest Industries Sdn Bhd ( an integrated pulp and paper manufacturer ), serving briefly first as the Internal Audit Officer and then as the Executive Assistant to Managing Director for several years. She then moved on to be the Finance Manager of a property and investment holding company for a number of years before joining SURIA in September 2001.
