Alias Bin Nasip

En. Alias Nasip, a Malaysian aged 53, is a Manager (Risk Management) since June 2005.  He joined Suria Capital to assume the post of Assistant Manager (Audit) upon his secondment from Sabah Ports Sdn. Bhd. after the port privatization exercise since September 2004.

Having been a long-serving staff, he joined Sabah Ports Authority (SPA) in October 1971 to serve in the Port Operations and Accounts Department.  In 1987, he went to further his studies in the United Kingdom under the SPA's scholarship and graduated with BA (Hons) Accounting Studies in 1991. Upon his return, he became the Assistant Auditor and later as Senior Assistant Accountant before being promoted to Internal Auditor in August 1995.

He obtained his Master in Business Administration in 1998 from Edith Cowan University, Australia through a twinning programme with University Institute of Technology Mara (UiTM) under the sponsorship of the Sabah State Government.
